If we haven’t met yet—hi! I’m Courtney! I’m the owner and founder of NOSH Pediatric Feeding Therapy. NOSH began as both a professional calling and a deeply personal journey, shaped by the families I’ve walked alongside and my own lived experience with feeding challenges. My hope is that when you get to know me, you’ll better understand the heart behind NOSH.
HOW MY OT JOURNEY BEGAN
My path into occupational therapy started when I was 13 years old. A close family member experienced a life-altering accident, and I watched as occupational therapy helped them rebuild skills, independence, and confidence in everyday life. Seeing therapy make such a tangible difference in someone I loved was deeply impactful. It showed me that meaningful change can happen one small, brave step at a time—and that supporting people in their daily lives is sacred work.
Growing up, I also wore the label of the picky eater of my family. My childhood mealtimes were shaped by being at the table with worry, pressure, and shame lingering in the background. If I’m honest, these are still feelings I sometimes wrestle with. My life experiences eventually wove themselves into my professional story, giving me a more personal understanding of how complex mealtimes can be—for both the child and the caregiver.
GROWING A PASSION FOR PEDIATRIC FEEDING
Throughout my career as an occupational therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families in many different settings:
In homes, where real mealtimes and routines unfold
In schools, where eating is woven into busy days
In pediatric clinics and hospitals, where families seek answers and support
On virtual platforms, making care accessible across distances
These experiences have given me a window into the everyday realities families face—the exhaustion of repeated mealtime battles, the worry when a child eats only a handful of foods, the weight of feeling like you’ve tried everything. They’ve also shown me what actually helps: practical tools, support that honors each child’s nervous system, a compassionate team, and a space where families feel seen and understood.
I believe in meeting each family exactly where they are, honoring their story, and working together to build skills and confidence in ways that fit seamlessly into real life.
Why FeedinG therapy is more than MY job
For me, feeding therapy isn’t just a specialty—it’s my purpose. I know how it feels to dread mealtimes, both as a child who struggled with food and as an adult who has walked through those feelings alongside families. I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can transform not only what’s on the plate, but also the tone, connection, and sense of safety at the table.
That’s why I’m committed to lifelong learning in pediatric feeding. I continually pursue advanced training and evidence-informed approaches so that the families I work with receive care that is grounded in research, clinical experience, and deep respect for each child’s nervous system and story. My hope is that every family who works with NOSH feels heard, valued, and supported.
MY HOPE for NOSH kids and families
At the core of NOSH is a simple belief: Every child deserves the chance to discover the delight of exploring food with confident curiosity and every family deserves mealtimes rooted in connection.
Feeding therapy, when done gently and collaboratively, is about so much more than getting more bites in. It’s about building trust, tuning into each child’s sensory and emotional world, and creating routines that feel sustainable for the whole family.
If your child is struggling with eating—or if you’re carrying the invisible weight of mealtime stress—I want you to know that you’re not alone and you’re not failing. You’re a caring parent doing your best with a really hard thing.

I’d be honored to come alongside you and your family as you navigate your child’s feeding journey. Whether you’re simply starting to wonder if something more might be going on or you’ve been worried for a long time, there is space for your story here at our table.
